We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a Psychiatric RN, you will provide care for patients with mental health issues, assessing, diagnosing, and treating people with psychiatric problems.
Job Description:- Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in the design and delivery of patient care.
- Administer and monitor effectiveness and side-effects of psychotropic medications.
- Assist patients, and families as appropriate, to interpret and manage maladaptive behaviors and to plan healthy lifestyle changes.
- Exercise balanced judgement in evaluation situations and making decisions to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a professional manner.
This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with mental health issues.
Requirements:- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
- Weekly pay and direct deposit
