We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Psychiatric Nurse in a Behavioral Health setting. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide direct care to patients with mental disorders, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients with mental disorders, including facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules, and evaluating patient progress.
  • Assist physicians with patient management and evaluate and treat patients with mental disorders.
  • Instruct and educate patients and families on mental health care and orient and mentor new staff members.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of recent Behavioral Health experience.
  • BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Active state nursing license.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
