**Job Summary**

The Software Development Specialist will work closely with the Application Development team at Anchor Point Technology Resources to manage and maintain organization-wide systems. This position will collaborate with various departments to customize existing systems or create new systems to meet their specific needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support and maintain organization-wide applications, including Colleague, Argos, eRezLife, CRM Recruit, Canvas, Qualtrics, AMP, and SharePoint Online.
  • Analyze and document business user requirements and processes to create exports and reports on systems.
  • Update systems to create proper testing and staging environments for on-premises applications.
  • Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with the Application Development team to support data integrity and security systems.
  • Consult with vendors to resolve issues impeding computer processing, data integration, and new implementations.
  • Work on tickets to resolve problems and ensure customers receive prompt, efficient service within the expected timeframe.
  • Assist users with day-to-day questions, problems, and issues on the corporate network.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience with SQL is required.
  • Experience with relational databases is preferred.
  • Report writing experience with Argos or SQL Server Reporting Services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Internet Information Services is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work closely with others in a team environment and independently.
  • Availability for after-hours support as requested.
