Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS, and have experience working in a Cath Lab setting. If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new staff and participate in the orientation of new hires. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of cardiologists to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- BLS training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
Compensation and Benefits:
Our competitive salary range is $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
