Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to work effectively with users and interfacing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to ensure operating efficiency.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Configure Linux operating systems and support SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and Replication Server.
  • Install and configure MIDB database and application software.
  • Perform database backups and system restoration, monitor database performance, and perform troubleshooting.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with 8 or more years of experience. Additional 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph is also required. Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active is preferred. Strong understanding of Linux (CentOS or RHEL) and performing snapshots, disaster recovery, performance tuning is necessary. Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills are essential for this role.
