Job Summary

Lindenwood Christian Church is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our childcare team as a Child Care Assistant Teacher. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to five years old.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing program goals and classroom objectives, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all children.
  • Supervise and engage with children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and policies.
  • Administer medication to children as directed by parents and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through daily activity reports and regular updates.
  • Perform cleaning duties and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Handle accidents and emergencies with professionalism and care.
  • Meet the physical and emotional needs of children, setting a positive example for them to follow.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Director of Life Center Ministries to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience working with children is essential.
  • Current CDA/AA in Early Childhood Development is preferred.
