Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Ready, Set, Grow Learning Academy. As a Lead Teacher for our Infant-Toddler program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our youngest scholars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in infants and toddlers.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need, and making data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
  • Collaborate with the Education Director and other staff members to develop and implement curriculum, policies, and procedures that align with our school's mission and values.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and families through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 21 years of age and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
  • Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and participate in physical activities with children.
  • Valid state driver's license and current CPR/First Aid certification are required.
