Northwell Health is seeking a skilled DIC Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented DIC Radiology Technologist to perform various x-ray exams according to established standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining the procedure in a clear and concise manner.
  • Position patients for taking of radiographs according to departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure.
  • Monitor patient's condition during the procedure and recognize and report any abnormalities.
  • Process and maintain exposed images, labeling film for identification and maintaining required records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
  • Previous radiology technologist experience.
