Northwell Health is seeking a skilled DIC Radiology Technologist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented DIC Radiology Technologist to perform various x-ray exams according to established standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams by explaining the procedure in a clear and concise manner.
- Position patients for taking of radiographs according to departmental standard operating procedures.
- Operate x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure.
- Monitor patient's condition during the procedure and recognize and report any abnormalities.
- Process and maintain exposed images, labeling film for identification and maintaining required records.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
- Previous radiology technologist experience.
