Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Emergency Room will be responsible for providing emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. You will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emergency nursing care to patients, including triage, assessment, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest developments in emergency nursing and healthcare.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse from any state.
- Minimum 5 years' total nursing experience, with at least 1 year ER experience within the past 3 years.
- Life Support Certifications: BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC.
- Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
