As an Electrical Control Systems Specialist at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical control systems for HVAC and other applications.
Key Responsibilities- Loading software onto field and network level controllers
- Performing commissioning and diagnostics for system controllers and end devices
- Maintaining accurate documentation of job progress and issues
- Calibrating systems using electronic test equipment
- Completing administrative tasks such as time sheets and expense reports
- Documenting changes and providing information for as-built documentation
- Participating in company-sponsored training to stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and best practices
- 2-4 years of experience with building automation systems (BAS), Honeywell, Siemens, Tridium, Trane, or Automated systems
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications
- Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Solid knowledge base in personal computer use
- Attention to detail and good communication skills
