Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and specifying electrical control systems, instrumentation, and process control infrastructure. You will also lead the specification and procurement of instrumentation related to process control, process indication, and control system infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop new and existing process control and instrumentation systems.
  2. Develop discrete, analog, and networked control solutions.
  3. Prepare specifications, design-bid documentation, and construction estimates.
  4. Review supplier designs against licensor requirements, code requirements, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience developing PLC programs using multiple vendor hardware for process and discrete controls.
• Strong electrical engineering background with expertise in control systems design and implementation.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet I/P, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profibus/Profinet, etc.).
• Knowledge of NEC, UL/CSA standards for electrical equipment and construction best practices.
• Experience working in PSM-covered facilities and managing change orders.
