Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time dining server to join our team. As a dining server, you will be responsible for serving resident meals in a timely manner, resetting tables for the next meal, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities
  • Serve resident meals in a timely manner and reset tables for the next meal.
  • Serve room trays as needed for meals.
  • Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
  • Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
  • Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
  • Exemplify community standards of fully staffed, operational, and stocked dining room.
  • Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Knowledge in areas of serving, preparation, and shift organization.
  • Set tables and maintains work stations in proper order.
  • Take orders, provide service, and requested items both graciously and courteously.
  • Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
  • Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing.
  • Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per policy and procedure.
Requirements
  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
  • Team Player.
  • Reliable.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
Compensation

Min: USD $19.00/Hr.
