Position Summary:

The Security Officer plays a crucial role in safeguarding the premises and ensuring the well-being of both staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the property and assist guests with access to their accommodations.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and perform daily inspections for potential hazards.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and provide assistance to guests and employees during emergencies.
  • Manage guest disturbances effectively and, if necessary, escort individuals from the premises.
  • Carry out investigations, collect evidence, and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
  • Complete shift reports and maintain the confidentiality of all loss prevention documentation.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations, which may require extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Learn and assist with Front Desk and Guest Services operations.
  • Handle physical tasks, including moving and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and assisting with heavier items.
  • Utilize computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors or Managers.
