Job Overview

The Investment Operations Coordinator role is a key position within our firm, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our investment processes. This includes client service, processing of variable products, and other securities.

This role is essential in maintaining a compliant investment process and ensuring accurate and timely completion of investment-related tasks.

  • Obtain necessary information and instructions from financial advisors for financial planning software input.
  • Maintain compliance for assigned client cases.
  • Manage DocuSign and client signature processes by deadline.
  • Prepare and process paperwork for investment/advisory accounts.
  • Discuss potential rollover opportunities from other retirement plans.
  • Receive and forward checks and related paperwork.
  • Process and monitor funding of advisory accounts and asset transfers.
  • Execute trades of brokerage and advisory accounts.
  • Process various asset movement transactions.
  • Support planning team in investment allocation and strategies.
  • Accept redemptions/withdrawals and communicate instructions to home office.
  • Run performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar, and NMCIR.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of investments industry experience preferred.
  • Health and Life licensed or gain licensing within 30 days of employment.
  • SIE and Series 6 and 63 or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to practice active listening and communicate professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Able to collaborate and work between areas of expertise.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the role and team.
