Data Modeler Job Opportunity

Compunnel is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data sources and creating detailed data models for our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop data models tailored to our organization's information systems.
  • Create and maintain logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and minimize redundancy.
  • Evaluate and resolve discrepancies in data models and physical databases.
  • Work with XML and XSD files, validate data objects, and apply appropriate design principles.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for reusing data models in new contexts.
Requirements:
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL to perform business analytics.
  • Understanding of and ability to translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
  • Strong experience working with XML and XSD files.
  • Exposure to retail POS databases.
  • Ability and willingness to stay informed of the ways our client uses its data.
