About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to join our team at DATAECONOMY. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data models to support business requirements, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models to support business requirements
  • Utilize DRB methodologies to create and maintain comprehensive data resource books
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements
  • Develop and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Support ETL processes and data integration initiatives
  • Implement data warehousing solutions to support reporting and analytics needs
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 15 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data management
  • Strong experience with DRB methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools such as Erwin or IBM InfoSphere Data Architect
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
