Job Title: Civil Roadway Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Roadway Designer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our transportation group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing roadways and bridges throughout New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NJDOT specifications and CADD Standards using MicroStation and InRoads software.
  • Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Prepare engineering reports and technical studies, including design memos, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Perform field work and construction phase services support.
  • Interact with clients, agencies, and the public to present project designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in highway design and construction.
  • Experience with MicroStation and InRoads software, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
