Job Summary

Citizens is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design and implement AAA and NAC strategies for our internal infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the management of our computer networks and ensure the stability of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and develop the product backlog
  • Build new AAA/NAC infrastructure and execute changes assigned for maintenance, upgrades, and new features
  • Ensure configuration backup of all systems and devices is up to date
  • Review logs/monitoring data/reports to identify capacity bottlenecks and suggest improvements
  • Generate reports required for operations management
  • Keep tickets up to date as per response SLA in ITSM (SNOW) tool
  • Contribute knowledge articles and update them in a timely manner when required
  • Monitor and manage networks; identify potential entry points or weaknesses; detect intrusions; manage and ensure the functionality of prevention technologies
  • Manage highly complex secure connectivity solutions to ensure the integrity of Citizens' sensitive financial data and mission-critical resources
  • Collaborate with other engineering and IT teams to plan, develop, execute, and support infrastructure and network-related projects; offer thought leadership in regards to network security and management
  • Offer Tier II technical network support; leverage knowledge of network analysis and performance evaluation to provide Tier II technical support; assist with the resolution of escalating tickets; offer general support to IT service operations
Qualifications
  • Background in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience investigating and diagnosing incidents and problems relating to AAA and NAC related services
  • Experience with 802.1x, MAB, Guest, BYOD, Wired & Wireless authentication
  • Experience with industry-standard deployments (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass)
  • Experience with TACACS+, RADIUS, MFA solutions
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Terraform, Python, and/or RESTful API
  • Cloud network expertise: virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, firewalls, DNS, and network threat management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience working with industry-leading AAA/NAC solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Security
  • 3+ years of experience developing public cloud workloads in at least one major CSP (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Work Schedule

Normal business hours, 40 hours/week, salary-based

Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience
