Job Title: Music Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Instructor to join our team at the Ladgov Corporation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in music education, with a focus on percussion instruments. The ideal candidate will be able to teach students of all skill levels and provide individualized instruction to help them achieve their musical goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach group lessons focusing on ensemble playing, intonation, balance, blend, and stylistic accuracy.
  • Prepare students for performances.
  • Monitor and assess each student's progress, providing constructive feedback and adjustments to lesson plans as needed.
  • Encourage and facilitate group practice sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of each student's progress and attendance.
  • Communicate regularly with students and the Music Director regarding student progress, upcoming performances, and other relevant matters.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of professional experience in music education teaching high school or college and performing as a percussionist.
  • Experience with marching, concert, and auxiliary percussion, and drumkit required.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
