This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities associated with the reception, storage, order processing, and dispatch of client orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and precise selection of customer orders, ensuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are gathered to fulfill customer specifications.
  • Preparation of shipments in a manner that is considerate of the customer experience, which includes verifying each package and securely packing materials into boxes, containers, and pallets to ensure product protection and adherence to shipping standards.
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and care standards to fulfill all product and customer expectations.
  • Active participation in Safety Teams and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
  • Conducting inventory counts as per established schedules and requirements.
  • Picking orders that require cold-chain management within a temperature range of 36°F to 46°F.
  • Utilizing systems that enhance logistics efficiency, including Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Voice Technology.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety for oneself and colleagues.
  • Supporting team members to balance workloads and maintain consistent productivity levels.
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) daily.
  • Performing stock and module replenishments.
  • Unloading sorter lanes and verifying that the indicated shipping method aligns with the assigned pallet.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Ability to follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Materials packing and shipping regulations.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet daily operational demands.
  • Ability to work in both warm and refrigerated environments.
  • Demonstrated qualities of diligence, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence are vital.
  • Forklift training and certification are highly preferred.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with zero to one year of experience in general warehousing or manufacturing, which includes order assembly, shipping/receiving, stocking, inventory maintenance, and picking/verification tasks.

Physical Requirements:

The work environment is a standard indoor industrial setting, which may include warehousing, manufacturing, maintenance, and production areas. The temperature may range from 36°F to 46°F. Routine lifting of up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs is required, and the individual must be able to access all areas of the facility. Personal protective equipment, such as ear plugs, safety shoes, safety glasses, protective clothing, and/or headwear must be worn as required.

Compensation:

The anticipated base pay for this position may vary based on location and other factors.
