Position Overview
The Oracle SCM Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering advisory and implementation services tailored to meet the unique business requirements of client organizations within the Technology Transformation Practice. This role offers a supportive environment designed to empower you in achieving both client objectives and personal career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in comprehensive life cycle implementations, encompassing planning, design, and build phases.
- Document essential business requirements, system architecture, and transformational objectives.
- Configure applications and perform iterative unit testing to ensure functionality.
- Develop training materials and quick reference guides to facilitate user adoption.
- Conduct training sessions to prepare end users for successful deployment.
- Provide ongoing support post-production to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate actively in full life cycle implementations.
- Assist in identifying business requirements, functional design, process mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance usability and profitability of information architecture.
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours to maintain high utilization rates.
- Support practice leadership in crafting proposals, budgets, and work plans, and engage in business development activities as necessary.
- Conduct interviews for campus and experienced candidates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a consulting capacity, servicing clients across various industries at a national level.
- Experience with at least 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle applications.
- Possession of an industry-recognized professional certification is mandatory.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles, key performance metrics, and reporting.
- Experience in application integration and back-end data connectivity solutions.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle SCM, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Procurement.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects within tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in conducting meetings and producing technical documentation.
- Adept at collaborating with clients to analyze current processes and define future state processes aligned with business objectives.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, with expected travel up to 40%.
