Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to support our clinical team at SportsCare Physical Therapy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care and attention.
Responsibilities- Patient Care Support: Provide direct assistance to patients during therapy sessions, following guidance from physical therapists or assistants. This may involve assisting with exercises, equipment setup, and patient safety.
- Treatment Area Preparation: Set up treatment areas and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization for patient use.
- Patient Education: Assist in educating patients about exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by the clinical team.
- Maintenance and Supplies: Maintain accurate records, monitor supplies, and restock as needed. Ensure therapy equipment is properly maintained and report issues to staff.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, physical therapists, and other team members to facilitate a smooth patient experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Competitive Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year based on experience.
