Job Summary:

KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Security Engineer to join our Global Information Technology (GT&K) Group. The successful candidate will provide support for the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter, including regular on-call support and identifying continual improvements to the services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, and Terraform, as well as experience with firewall and network management qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter, including regular on-call support at weekends during normal working hours using a follow-the-sun handover process between regions.
• Identify and implement continual improvements to the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter.
• Ensure adherence to guidelines and best practices by colleagues in the tier two support teams, improving operational stability.
• Provide technical expertise in assigned projects, with a focus on ensuring products are reliable and supportable by the Chapter.
• Assess vendors/suppliers for suitability in providing services pertaining to the Chapter's responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of recent relevant Information Technology work experience, with at least three years of recent experience working in complex network environments.
• Minimum three years of recent experience implementing and supporting firewall solutions within medium to large, complex organizations.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Networking, Palo Alto Technologies, and Terraform.
• Firewall and network management qualifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSE, or FNSE (or equivalent skill level).
• Strong understanding of Palo Alto Networks security technologies, including Wildfire, AV/Threat Prevention, URL filtering, User-ID, and Panorama.
