**Job Title:** Windows Server Engineer

**Estimated Salary:** $63,939 - $102,479 per year

We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Engineer to join our team at Vets Hired. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems, as well as providing technical support for all Windows Server operating systems and user application software.

**Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Servers and utilizing system support software for remote control, patch management, software distribution, and operating system deployment
  • Configuring and administering backup applications used within the DOD for disaster recovery
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and establishing business continuity for Active Directory Domain Services
  • Installing, configuring, and managing VMware and vSphere infrastructures

**Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
