About the Opportunity

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Accounting Team at Menasha Corporation. As an Accounting Intern, you will assist in preparing, reviewing, and posting month-end entries, as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations. You will also perform various accounting processes and analysis throughout the month, working closely with other team members to streamline accounting processes and improve controls.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Compile financial information to prepare journal entries and various analyses
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, meeting all financial reporting deadlines
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Evaluate procedures for process improvements and update documentation

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferred
  • Knowledge in relevant accounting software, including SAP and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel formulas
  • Accounting background, with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and processes
