Facilities Maintenance Management is in search of a dedicated professional to take on the role of HVAC Service Technician. Our organization provides maintenance and construction services to both residential and commercial clients across the nation. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of experience, have reliable transportation, and be able to successfully complete a drug screening. A company vehicle will be provided if all driving criteria are satisfied. Additional benefits include paid time off and holidays. While tools are not mandatory, they are considered a significant advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

The technician will be accountable for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings. The role involves working at various locations and being available for emergency calls outside of regular hours.


Primary Duties:
  • Conduct all preventive maintenance, necessary repairs, and minor adjustments to HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems is essential for ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform routine general preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, which includes lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and replacement of consumable parts (such as filters and indicator lights) along with periodic equipment testing.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records, demonstrating familiarity with preventative maintenance and work order management software.
  • Execute all assigned tasks to guarantee the safety of building occupants and ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Install new HVAC systems in both residential and commercial environments, ensuring their proper functionality.
  • Capable of installing and conducting preventative and repair maintenance on generators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical principles.
  • Familiarity with all types of commercial HVAC equipment (such as AHUs and VAVs).
  • Proficient in HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation.
  • Ability to utilize technology for work order management and communication.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel on short notice for extended periods.
  • Desire to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • HVAC Certification.
  • EPA Section 608 Certifications: Types 1, 2, and 3 (Type 4 is preferred but not mandatory).
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity.
  • Proficient in computer usage, including text and email communication.
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 20 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently climb stairs and ladders.
  • Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of temperature.
  • Must pass a Fit for Duty Screening.
