About the Role

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role as a core member of the Strategic Finance team. As a dynamic problem solver, you will be responsible for efficiently scaling the company by executing a wide range of projects for one of the industry leaders in AI and robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop financial budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators in collaboration with company leaders across Engineering and G&A functions.
  • Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision-making that aligns resource allocation with the company's objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results versus expectations and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Roll up variances at the company level and provide regular financial updates to the C-Suite and Board of Directors.
  • Help improve existing financial models and roll up various models into the total company 3-statement model (P&L, BS, CFS).
  • Drive projects in areas spanning from ROI-based resource allocation, operational excellence, efficiency, and process improvement workstreams.
  • Prepare business cases for implementing capital efficiency initiatives.
  • Help scale the company from a Series D startup to a more mature company by gathering requirements and implementing tools and processes.
  • Pull into projects such as fundraising, corporate development, and partnership analysis as needed.
About You
  • You have a consistent track record of excellence with 7+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and/or Strategic Finance.
  • You have top-tier problem-solving and analytical capabilities with the ability to dive deep into complex topics and provide actionable recommendations.
  • You have excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills with the ability to distill complex analyses and nuanced circumstances.
  • You possess a growth mindset with intellectual curiosity and the insatiable urge to learn and grow as a person and professional.
  • You have a bias for action with accountability and ownership, being dedicated and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a tremendous work ethic with diligence and commitment to the task at hand while balancing speed and efficiency.
  • You are the consummate team player with a willingness to do what's best for the company and the team.
  • You have advanced data analytics skills with the ability to extract, clean, prepare, analyze, visualize, and present data with thoughtful insights.

  • Experience streamlining data-intensive workflows with SQL, Python, Javascript, or VBA.

Nuro's total compensation package includes a competitive benefits package and an annual performance bonus. The reasonably expected base pay range for this position is between $167,200 and $250,800 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills.
