We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our team at Brown County Oral Health Partnership. Our mission is to provide excellent oral health services and education to children in our community.

Job Summary: As a dental hygienist, you will be responsible for reviewing the health history of children, performing prophylaxis, applying fluoride, and delivering oral hygiene instructions. You will also take notes and charting in patient's charts, perform hygiene assessments, place sealants, and educate patients on oral health and provide dietary counseling.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the health history of children
  • Perform prophylaxis and apply fluoride
  • Deliver oral hygiene instructions and take notes and charting in patient's charts
  • Perform hygiene assessments and place sealants
  • Deliver post-op and post-fluoride instructions
  • Clean and set up the portable operatory and stock supply bins
  • Educate patients on oral health and provide dietary counseling

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
  • Experience working with children and teens
  • Language requirements: English; Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, or Somali beneficial
  • Ability to travel to any of OHP's dental service sites
