Supervisor, Adult Pulmonary Critical Care Advanced Practice

OU Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader to oversee the Advanced Practice team in the Adult Pulmonary Critical Care department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, clinical practice, and education, with a proven track record of success in managing complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight to the Advanced Practice team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational standards.
Collaborate with business, OAP leadership, and medical leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, including hiring and orientation of new APPs.
Oversee Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and performance evaluations in collaboration with Physician teams.
Manage time, attendance, and schedule oversight in collaboration with Physician teams.
Monitor certification tracking and compliance with system-wide and departmental initiatives.
Support key strategic initiatives and goals of the Office for Advanced Practice, including advancing PA and APRN practice, education, and research initiatives.
Requirements:
Master's degree in one of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse areas (CNS, CRNA, CNP, or CNM) or Master's degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies.
1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience, with at least 1 year of experience in clinical practice as an Advanced Practice Provider.
APRN and RN licensure from Oklahoma Board of Nursing and board certification, or Current full licensure from Oklahoma Board of Medicine and board certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to provide leadership in a complex environment.
Demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in building strong working relationships with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
Evidence of successful collaborations with APPs and Physician colleagues.
Ability to exercise thoughtful judgment in all matters related to APPs.
Working knowledge of the APRN/PA scope of practice.
