Caregiving Specialist Role

TotalMed is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU. This includes monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, managing pain and discomfort, and collaborating with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure seamless transitions.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to over $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location, plus benefits including 401(k), licensure reimbursement, continuing education opportunities, and housing assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
  • Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and manage pain and discomfort

  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and potential complications

Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other certifications as required by facility)
  • 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
