Job Title: Registered Nurse Infusion

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our infusion therapy team in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for administering IV medications, blood products, and treatments, while monitoring patient responses and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer intravenous (IV) medications, blood transfusions, and fluid infusions following physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor patients during and after infusions, ensuring safety and timely response to any adverse reactions.
  • Assess patients' condition before infusion treatments and review lab results and medications for patient education on the infusion process, medications, and any necessary follow-up care or home management.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
  • Accurately document patient information, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in infusion therapy, oncology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Infusion Nursing (CRNI) or ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification is preferred.
  • Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple infusion treatments simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
