Facilities Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Technician Specialist to join our team at 24 Hour Fitness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment in our assigned clubs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure proper operation of HVAC systems in all club areas within 24 hours.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace all serviceable components of the HVAC system in assigned club locations.
- Monitor Energy Management Systems (EMS) and work with vendors on issues that arise.
- Execute on and monitor the implementation of the Corporate HVAC Strategy.
- Regularly inspect and verify the operation and safety of HVAC components.
- Work closely with General Managers and Facilities Technicians to discuss club maintenance needs and repairs.
- Perform OSHA safety checks and follow all safety guidelines.
- Submit completed PM and Service reports via company-provided documents.
- 5+ years' experience in Commercial HVAC service and repairs or 5+ years in-house Facilities Technician experience.
- EPA Type Universal Certification.
- Ability to read and understand HVAC-related blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of refrigerants and ability to analyze internal system pressure.
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems, AC/DC circuits.
- Operating knowledge of basic hand tools and specialized HVAC tools.
- Personal computer and keyboarding skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or other code that overlaps HVAC regarding installation, repair, or maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to decipher and react to HVAC-related blueprints and schematics.
- Operating knowledge of multi-meters, computerized air quality meters, DD DDC controls, and computer control systems.
