About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Learning Manager to join our team at Capital One. As a key member of our Learning & Development organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering learning experiences that enable our associates to grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy for our onboarding and career development programs, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive business objectives.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis, create human-centered design strategies, and deliver exceptional learning experiences that meet user and business needs.
  • Manage a team of learning professionals who consult, design, develop, curate, and deliver learning solutions focused on the joining experience and career development.
  • Leverage project management skills to deliver an optimized and flawless learner experience, including change management strategies and effective communications.
  • Stay current with external trends, best practices, and innovations, and infuse these into the work products and consulting offered to clients.
  • Design and implement a measurement and evaluation strategy to determine program effectiveness, and share results with leaders to drive improvements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in client consulting or performance consulting or a combination of both.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading projects or working in Agile teams, or a combination of both.
  • At least 3 years of experience in people leadership with 3 or more direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in learning design and development.
  • 5+ years of experience with supplier/vendor relationship management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing budgets.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the learning and development industry.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
