Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production process to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee staffing and line maintenance to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Check daily production orders and ensure all positions are filled before start-up.
  • Oversee morning exercises and job rotation to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure machinery and workstations meet high standards and pass USDA Inspection.
  • Communicate company benefits and policies to Team Members and provide encouragement and support.
  • Handle human relations functions such as training, retention, and counseling.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a meat manufacturing environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma required; additional education such as special training, vocational school, or college courses is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are helpful.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of personnel who perform similar and related tasks.

Travel Requirements

Requires 1-5 trips per year.
