  • Financial Statement Preparation: The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Tax Compliance: Coordinate and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accounting Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Preferred Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax software, with a strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
