The Manufacturing Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing, guiding, and enhancing all functions within the manufacturing facility to meet organizational objectives. This role involves crafting and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
The Manufacturing Operations Leader is accountable for all facets of plant performance, emphasizing safety, quality, personnel management, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. By fostering employee engagement, this leader aims to drive performance enhancements, reduce costs, ensure timely product delivery, and elevate customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance quality and service metrics while reducing costs by developing and executing effective manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Manage and oversee the budget while striving to improve conversion costs and minimize variances.
- Ensure that comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols are established and adhered to, in compliance with relevant legislation and corporate policies.
- Guide and mentor team members to maximize performance, achieve results, and facilitate career growth.
- Champion initiatives that foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and recognition within the workforce.
- Articulate the company’s vision, values, and key performance indicators to all staff.
- Oversee plant layout and the initiation of new equipment installations.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment driven by ERP systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing ERP system-driven environment.
- Experience with plant startups and equipment layout design.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects.
