Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chico's FAS, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current sales and promotions, to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
  • Participate in visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, and visual presentations, to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist with replenishment activities, including receiving and processing merchandise, to ensure the store is fully stocked and abundant.
  • Support operational excellence by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including assisting with boutique cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a cohesive omni-channel experience for customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.
Physical Requirements:
  • Constant walking/standing (8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
