Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, and managing month-end closing tasks.
  • Regularly reconcile balance sheet accounts, identify any discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments to uphold accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead the month-end closing process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and other pertinent accounting standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to analyze financial data.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Excel.
