Merchandising Support Coordinator

You will work closely with our merchandising team to support our customers and drive business results.
Responsibilities
• Act as the central escalation point of contact for all internal merchandising inquiries related to product, specifications, availability, and substitutions
• Become subject matter expert in US Foods systems and tools to quickly and accurately answer inquiries
• Support Category Operations Managers with analytics requests, local flyer item selection, and rebate solicitation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum 5 years of purchasing, merchandising, sales, or customer service experience, preferably in a foodservice distribution environment. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to research, escalate, and follow up on inquiries with a sense of urgency and be able to overcome objections and obstacles with a solution-based attitude.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and education. You will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus and benefits, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
