Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Technician is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate with customers and service advisors to ensure accurate and complete work orders
  • Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary repairs and recommend additional work
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner and report any safety issues

Requirements:

  • ASE Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • 2+ years of experience in a dealership or similar environment
  • Prior body work experience and previous B Class general service technician experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
  • Ability to lift up to 45lbs regularly
  • Good vision to inspect repair work
  • Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
