Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day operational support duties, including transaction processing, resolving complex customer issues, balancing accounts, and verifying accuracy of transactions processed.
  • Process a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash-related transactions that require extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.
  • Research inquiries, resolve customer complaints, review time-sensitive and/or complex documents, and create or revise departmental procedures.
  • Coordinate situations involving multiple departments and provide department-level reporting using multiple sources.
  • Provide training or work direction to junior-level staff and provide back-up to other desks.
  • Have extensive customer contact and work under minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: transfer agent experience, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, or operations.
  • Previous reconciling/balancing experience.
  • Experience in an operational environment.
  • Prior Transfer Agent or Securities Industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment.

Compensation:

  • $20.00 per hour.
