**Job Summary**
We are seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a screenwriting course at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. The successful candidate will have a graduate degree and prior experience teaching at the college level.
**Course Description**
This course examines the preproduction phase of moving image media, focusing on the art and business of writing for the screen. Students will develop their own work from original story ideas to completed first drafts. Topics include script formats, narrative structure, plot development, characterization, style, and marketing strategies.
**Responsibilities**
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for teaching the screenwriting course, which is a writing-intensive course. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
**Requirements**
Graduate degree and prior experience teaching at the college level. Professional screenwriting experience is preferred.
