Position Responsibilities:

The Golf Sales Specialist is tasked with fostering a retail environment that aligns with the core values of the company. Key responsibilities include:
  • Stay informed about all golf-related products, terminology, promotional offers, and sales events.
  • Assess customer needs, utilizing knowledge of golf equipment to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Guide customers through product comparisons to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
  • Utilize golf technology, such as launch monitors and simulators, to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist in store organization, merchandising, and maintaining a clean sales area in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage inventory inquiries and assist in stockroom operations as necessary.
  • Propose process improvements based on training and experience.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Essential Requirements:
  • Ability to engage in physical activities including standing, lifting (up to 15 pounds), and moving throughout the store.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management and order processing.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior knowledge or experience in golf is essential.
  • Experience in the golf retail sector is advantageous, though entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is $18.00, with commission potential ranging from 1.75% to 6%, depending on department performance and product sales. Individual compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
