Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at AmeriPro EMS. As an AEMT, you will provide patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring compliance with state EMS rules and regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls, providing patient care and treatment according to company protocols
  • Ensure ambulance and equipment are clean and in proper working condition
  • Complete patient care reports, billing, and other administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced EMT certification or licensure in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an EMT or in a similar medical role
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training

Physical Requirements:

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others.

Working Environment:

The employee will be exposed to inclement weather, potential hazardous conditions, and psychological stressors. The employee will be required to attend meetings, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
