Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency and non-emergency environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in accordance with company protocols and medical director-approved standing orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all state EMS rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Check and maintain all ambulance equipment and vehicles to ensure they are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Prepare and complete accurate reports, including patient care reports, billing, exposure reports, incident reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs.
  • Represent AmeriPro EMS LLC and our team as an EMS professional, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • State-specific Emergency Medical Technician certification/licensure in good standing/current NREMT certification (if applicable by state law).
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state-specific driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
