About the Role
The Surgical Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a safe and clean environment for surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the surgical process.
Requirements
- Surgical Technologist certification from the Washington Department of Health.
- Two years of experience in a surgical setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
