**Job Summary**
The Respiratory Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in supporting respiratory care services at the Mayo Clinic. As a key member of the team, you will provide critical support to patients with disordered respiratory physiology under the direction of a registered respiratory therapist.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver oxygen devices in a timely and efficient manner to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Perform daily hospital-wide rounds to monitor and provide service to patients using respiratory support devices.
- Support respiratory therapists, nurses, and physicians with equipment and supply needs, workload data, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide information management and data entry services for department billing, QA database, and research studies.
- Participate in the hospital's Code 45 team, performing CPR as required, and assist with 12 Lead EKGs.
**Requirements**
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Basic knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
