Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Orange Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Administer medications and provide wound care as ordered by physicians.
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members as needed.
- Participate in center surveys and contribute to resident discharge plans.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents safely and efficiently.
- Complete accident/incident reports and chart patient information accurately.
- Receive telephone orders from physicians and order prescribed medications and supplies.
- Ensure narcotics are handled in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in associate performance evaluations and make recommendations to the Nurse Supervisor.
- Develop work assignments and prioritize resident safety.
- Administer professional services such as catheterizations, tube feedings, and applying dressings.
- Attend and participate in all center in-service programs and maintain professional competence through continuing education.
- Must hold a current and valid RN license.
