About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Sales and Customer Service division in our Southeast region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing world-class customer care to both internal and external customers, engaging in regional customer support activities, and communicating with customers and sales representatives on deliverables and any additional customer service issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Engage in regional customer support activities, including accurate entry of orders & quotes, RMA's, pricing negotiation, contract negotiation, and creation/maintenance of customer unique specifications
  • Communicate with customers and sales representatives on deliverables and any additional customer service issues
  • Complete and pass required Customer Service Representative process certifications provided by SEL
  • Use judgment skills, prior experience, and company policies and procedures to resolve standard and in-region problems
  • Assist with customer feedback tracking and driving to customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Associate degree or related business experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to learn concepts and technical details of products
  • Strong writing, proofreading, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Experience with ERP or CRM tools
  • Experience in a technical sales environment
