Job Title: Interventional Radiology Specialist

At Bon Secours Mercy Health, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of interventional radiology. As an Interventional Radiology Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws
  • Document patient information and critical findings in the electronic medical record

Requirements:

  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support- American Heart Association (preferred)

Working Conditions:

  • May be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse
  • May be required to use physical restraints
  • May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids
